Walk for Justice 2026
3 June 2026
Despite the rain, nothing could dampen the spirit of Walk for Justice 2026!
On Tuesday 19 May, hundreds of walkers, supporters, sponsors and friends gathered at Adelaide Oval for our 18th annual Walk for Justice — and together, they made history. With an tally closing at $204,524 raised in the week after the event, we not only met our $200,000 target, we surpassed it.
A heartfelt thank you to every single person who walked, donated, fundraised and cheered us on. You have made a direct and lasting difference to South Australians who cannot afford legal help.
A Day to Remember
The atmosphere at Adelaide Oval was electric. We were honoured to be joined by Her Excellency the Honourable Frances Adamson AC, Governor of South Australia, who walked alongside participants.
Chief Justice Laura Stein cut the ribbon to officially open the walk, and Attorney General Kyam Maher addressed the crowd with a timely reminder of why this work matters.
We also extend our deep gratitude to Rob Taylor for Welcoming us to Country, and to our Chairperson Scott Foreman for presenting the prizes on the day.
Over the Line: Thanks to a Final Donor Match
We are especially grateful to the Day Family Foundation, whose generous final donor match of $4,500 pushed us over the line. This kind of lead-from-the-front giving inspires everyone around it, and we cannot thank them enough.

What Your Support Makes Possible
Every dollar raised at Walk for Justice goes directly towards funding vital legal services for South Australians who cannot afford a lawyer. In a time of rising cost of living and housing stress, access to justice has never mattered more — and this community has shown, once again, that it is something worth walking for.
We cannot wait to see you at Walk for Justice 2027.
