The Honourable John Sulan KC

The Honourable John Sulan KC has led a distinguished legal career. He has worked as a prosecutor locally and overseas, served as a Judge of the District Court of South Australia from 1997 to 2003 and Justice of the Supreme Court of South Australia from 2003 to 2016. In April 2019, John was appointed South Australia’s Reviewer of the Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC).

John is recognised for his commitment to promoting multiculturalism and religious tolerance. He received a Governor’s Multiculturalism Award in 2013. He is a member of the Festival Centre Foundation Board and the Judging Panel for the Governor’s Annual Multicultural Awards. He is also Chair of Westside Lawyers, a community legal centre based in Hindmarsh.
